My role is supporting organisations to:
Effective strategy cannot be developed in isolation from the people responsible for implementing it, nor the broader cultural context surrounding it (both internally and externally). Great strategy must reflect the organisation’s purpose, workforce capacity, stakeholder needs, and cultural context.
I aim to help organisations develop a plan by collaborating with their people, and equipping them with the resources to deliver it.
As a Sociologist specialising in translating research into practice, I know the value of combining organisational research with a practical project-management approach. I understand organisations as social systems shaped by formal structures, informal norms, workplace relationships, and society more broadly. I look beyond what an organisation says it wants to achieve and examine the cultural and institutional factors that may support or obstruct progress.
I work collaboratively with leaders, staff and stakeholders to understand their context. Depending on the needs of the organisation, this may involve reviewing workforce data, or collecting new information through interviews, focus groups, or surveys. This evidence provides the foundation from which progress can be measured in the long-run, ensuring your strategic planning efforts are implemented into clear strategic priorities for culture change.
I bring experience developing, implementing and supporting strategic initiatives across higher education, legal settings, cultural institutions, and both government and private-sectors.
My doctoral research saw me develop advanced skills in research design, data analysis and understanding how organisational systems and cultures shape people’s experiences. These capabilities allow me to identify patterns that may not be immediately visible to others.
My work connects evidence-based, strategic direction with practical implementation: helping organisations create plans that are ambitious while remaining realistic, measurable and responsive to change.
Strategic Planning
Strategic Advising
Assisting your organisation in strategic planning initiatives aimed at uplifting organisational culture, staff wellbeing, and/or equity, diversity, and inclusion. Support can be provided on retainer, or via a package built around leading the development of your plan from inception through to launch.
For organisations seeking evidence-based guidance and strategic advising for initiatives aimed at culture uplift, EDI, or stakeholder engagement and consultation during change processes. Strategic advisory services can be offered in project-based packages, or on retainer with hours available at your discretion.
Strategic advising and/or planning can be paired with internal data collection and research services. First, you'll receive support to collect and/or analyse staff experience data. Next, we'll identify areas requiring improvement, and work on developing a strategic response to uplift culture.
