The Mission
I aim to uplift professional capabilities through:
- Delivering professional development workshops
- Leadership and professional coaching
- Public speaking (keynotes, fireside chats, and panels)
My work moves beyond sharing knowledge. It's about equipping professionals to translate an evidence-based understanding of organisational culture and leadership directly into their practice. I help professionals recognise where their current approaches may contribute to cultural friction points, and develop skills to improve culture within their teams.
This includes supporting leaders to better understand the human impact of their decisions, communicate expectations clearly and strategically, navigate complexity and develop workplace environments in which accountability, inclusion and healthy relationships can coexist.
The Approach
Training
My approach combines research-backed content with adult-learning principles, practical application, and structured reflection. I offer a range of training options, from tried-and-tested workshops, to customised training solutions to fit your needs.
Coaching
As a Sociologist, I approach leadership and communication as powerful social practices which shape organisational culture. Across both 1:1 coaching, and Coaching Curriculum Packages which uplift culture and capability across key thematic areas, I take a two-tiered approach: 1) Equip you with research-backed knowledge, concepts, and theories to uplift your confidence and capabilities; and 2) Translate this knowledge into action by workshopping key issues you face in your role. You can set the agenda to suit your goals for growth; or choose from a range of packages with a set curriculum.
Public Speaking
As a public speaker, I place particular emphasis on translating complex ideas into clear language, without oversimplifying. I offer services including keynotes, panels, fireside chats, and beyond.
The Expertise
I am a seasoned and award-winning adult educator with experience across business, undergraduate and postgraduate settings. I have designed and facilitated professional development workshops for: leadership and strategic communication; equity, diversity, and inclusion; neurodiversity at work and school; inequity in the legal system; and digital literacy for the workplace.
My teaching background has equipped me with advanced skills in curriculum design, group facilitation, knowledge translation and public speaking for groups with different levels of experience and confidence. I take complex ideas and turn them into practical frameworks that leaders and staff can use in their everyday work.
As a coach, I particularly enjoy working with professionals navigating diverse workforces, and/or who are themselves facing complex inequities in their career (e.g. caring responsibilities, neurodiversity, etc.).
